Interesting Sky 03 Aug 07

I thought that this looked very interesting tonight. These were taken looking East. The first two at 20:44.

The second two at 20:49.

The final shot at 20:54. Please feel free to vote and give me any comments, as a novice I do value expert advice.

Thanks

Geoff.

Re: Interesting Sky 03/08/07

Great photos Geoff. The clouds in pictures 2 and 3 show a weak Mammatus base to them. Nice Cirrus in picture 4.

Re: Interesting Sky 03 Aug 07

FR03AG07 SW London.

I have some shots of the same sunset.

Last summer the weather sites were awash with pics of beautiful sunsets.

This year there have been few picturesque sunsets to photograph.

Looking roughly ENE.

And west.

Taken from SW London rather than Kent, but its the same general area.

Its surprising how different the photosets are.

Re: Interesting Sky 03 Aug 07

Having thought about this, I reckon that the clouds I saw to the east, were over Central or East London.
So are probably not the same ones as seen from Kent.
