It appeared that this whole cloud was rotating as it moved upwards, a strong updreaft seemed to be under it as for about 30 minutes there was a hanging cloud beneath it, and even just watching it you could see the cloud being sucked p with what appeared a slight rotation.

I've been waiting for something like this to appear for the last couple of days as the clouds have been something else this week.

Fantastic photos Andy, as usual. The colours and the patterns are awesome. Good for the new competitions I feel.
