Arrow Severe Weather potential 11th March 2007

Weekend outlook for Sunday 11th MArch 2007 could be very interesting if this system comes any further south.

Re: Severe Weather potential 11th March 2007

It would indicate strong winds, particularly for North Scotland, but for the midlands area it would indicate 20 mph with a fine day - possible showers to the west.

It would only become severe if the system moved south, which at present its NOT forecast to do. Raised it as LOW's are fast moving and unpredictable.

I thought it woudl be good to give the opportunity to discuss any possible outcomes.

Re: Severe Weather potential 11th March 2007

thanks dudes,

I am gonna get a book on how to read the charts and better understand what they mean.

We seem to be getting a lot of transient low systems of late, is this normal?

Re: Severe Weather potential 11th March 2007

The final outcome, dry and showing some cloud, but I think that is thin although it shows on the run. Rain for Northern Ireland and the Highlands

Is that snow on the midnight run by Aberdeen ( the brown circles ) ???
