Damage reports 28 February 2007

A woman pedestrian was injured when she was trapped by hoarding which was blown on top of her by the wind in the centre of Birmingham.

The woman suffered facial, shoulder and ankle injuries after the hoarding, next to roadworks along Colmore Circus, fell on her.
Police and builders lifted the hoarding off the woman, allowing paramedics to treat her. She was taken to hospital but her injuries were not serious.
