| Re: Damage reports 18 Jan 2007 The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for Northern Ireland, with gusts of up to 80mph predicted. About 14,000 customers were left without electricity for a time, and about 5,000 are still without power in an area from Dungannon to Newry. Two people suffered minor injuries when two lorries overturned on the A1 near Loughbrickland in County Down. The Met Office said winds would reach 60 to 70mph during the day and about 80mph on high ground. In the Republic of Ireland, an articulated truck and trailer narrowly missed being blown from the flyover onto the M1, north of Dublin Airport.
