| Re: Discussion thread: 02 to 04 Dec 06 Some talk of snow coming in on the back end of the cold front. Very high ground though.

| Re: Discussion thread: 02 to 04 Dec 06 Well I was supposed to be leading a walk on a section of the Cotswold Way on sunday. Having looked on MWF and met office I have decided now to "go local" and finish at a pub with a log fire and a decent wine list My relatives in N.I. have phoned to say that they are having some very heavy rain. will it lose strength by the time we get it ?? |

| Re: Discussion thread: 02 to 04 Dec 06 Yes it will lose strength as is hit land, like all storms generally. West coast and Ireland will get the main, although we are on tornado watch and have severe weather warnings up. Freom the last reports I saw, I am expecting building wind overnight, clamer in the first half of tomorrow, then wind building again later. 3 or 4 threads to keep an eye on specific to the 3rd December discussion potential severe reports daily reports

| Rough weather Hello to all. I look after the weather in Walsall. A possible rough night/morning (nothing to do with that dodgy curry and beer I consumed earlier) weather wise. My barometer reading is 997mb with a falling trend. Probably will sleep through it all though unless I lose the roof off my house! |

| Re: Rough weather HI DT, welcome to the forum, yes another rough night expected (unlike the last one they predicted, where it ended up flat calm) this one could see some action. I'll move you over to the discussion report.
