Valid from/until: 11:05- 21:00BST on Tuesday 19th August 2008 for the following regions:

Northern England
Parts of southern and central Scotland

THREATS:
Isolated weak tornadoes, hail, torrential rain, occasional CG lightning.

SYNOPSIS:
Clearing cloud will allow surface heating beneath upper cold pool. NW-SE orientated convergence zone, along with a possible afternoon sea-breeze convergence zone may provide enough low-level vertical vorticity for isolated weak tornadoes.
