Earthquake- The Bump in the Night on Wed 27th February at 12:56am- Your Views At 12:56am on Wednesday 27th February many of us were Woken up to an Earthquake which was the biggest to hit the UK in 24 Years and measured 5.2 on the Richter Scale. It was an Earthquake slightly bigger than the one which struck the Dudley/Staffordshire area in September 2002 measuring 5.0 on the Richter Scale. What was your thoughts on the Feb 27th 08 Earthquake? If you felt it what did it feel like (Strange, violent etc)? According to how you felt it in your Area, roughly what would you measure the Earthquake on the Richter Scale? Any other Comments?

| Re: Forecast Saturday 1st March 2008 Thanks SW ![]() Yeah i was a bit annoyed that i missed it tbh. I missed the one in Folkestone last year and that was only 30miles away and during the day! This year however i went to bed about 20 mins beforehand and never woke up. Everyone i have spoken too didnt feel it either, but i was up till 1.10am the night before so had it happened then i might'v ehad a better chance. I wrote a piece about it in a blog Submitting Photo's, to try out my blog once again and apparently it made number 3 on google searches !
