Which Weather Station?

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here as you can see - hence my first question.
My dearest wife will hopefully be buying me a weather station for Christmas. Budget is around £400.
I've tried to research as much as possible and so far I quite like the new WMR200.
May I ask for your recommendations?
I would like to datalog, both quality and accuracy are also high up on the list.
Pity no one does a cloud sensor, well, one that I could reasonably afford!!
Look forward to your replies.
Bazza.
(Also an astronomer!)

Re: Which Weather Station?

The WMR200 looks a nice unit - Oregon are generally reliable so it shouldn't cause too many problems. I've had a WMR112 and currently have the WMR100 with no problems on either of them, although another forum member seems to have some problems with the WMR100. If the solar panel's anything like the WMR112 then the batteries shouldn't need changing for at least a year.

Re: Which Weather Station?

Looking through the spec I dont think you will go far wrong with the 200. Many of the members on here have the older 928 and they seem to be quite reliable so far.
