Moon still visible here in Tamworth too. Dolly increase your shutterspeed to around 1/250

I noticed a slight clearer spell before the much thciker cloud moves in currently through Bristol and the SW - sadly the cloud is moving WSW so the clearer slot is likely to move into the channel, but fingers crossed

Hi,

I was searching google for weather details about the eclipse tonight/tomorrow morning and found this forum - good stuff!

I'm planning on trying to take a photo of the eclipse with a Nikon D200 @300mm (450mm effective). I'm not hopeful looking at the cloud though I've set my alarm anyway.

Here's my last attempt from last years eclipse... I couldn't figure out how to link through a thumbnail so here's both the link to the bigger picture and the thumb.
