| Re: An Open letter from... M42 Still a little bit out of focus (maybe i need glasses at it looked clear to my eye Vs. the cmos sensor in the camera!!) But the nebula looks clearer now. Ill get it right some day!

| Re: An Open letter from... Cheers. Iam currently into 30 mins of a star timelapse. I have set the camera on the pole star with the 10mm wide angle lens, 13 second exposure iso 1600 with the shutter on burst (locked open using the remote shutter lead) I have no idea if it will turn out any good but iam hoping to capture URSA Major (aka the saucepan) turning counter clockwise as it rises.

| Re: An Open letter from... I was showing some novice walkers how to find north using the Plough earlier on the way home from Snowdon. Lee the difference in the stars when you are out in the wilds is amazing! Too much city light here |

| Re: An Open letter from... Totally different - i find it hard to get the easy constellations sometimes lol If you look to the east Saturn is rising (in Leo) The rings are nearly straight but still with around 50x magnification you will see them. I got to be honest it looked great at 150x + even with the heat haze - picked 3 of the moons too!

| Re: An Open letter from... Timelapse worked very well. The downside is that its 339Mb 1hr 10 mins of images @ 13 seconds per image. I will have to resize the images in the file then remake the video file. Glad i stopped it when i did as the dew had took a fancy to the uv filter on the lens so any more images would have been a waste of time.
