Terry Fator, ventriloquist, America's Got Talent

Ventriloquist Terry Fator won the America's Got Talent competition last Wednesday on NBC over here.

Do yourself a favor and go to youtube (YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.), search on Terry Fator, and watch his performances. All of them are phenomenal. I especially like Unforgettable, and What a Wonderful World, and At Last.

Heck. I like 'em all...

Re: Terry Fator, ventriloquist, America's Got Talent

Chris,
I think he should lose the turtle and become a Louis Armstrong Voice impersonator.

Would you believe in 1950's Britain there was a ventriloquist ..........

on the radio !

(even I could do that job)

Re: Terry Fator, ventriloquist, America's Got Talent

Over here (the UK) they've only just finished showing the series where the young girl (who has a phenomenal singing voice) won.

There were some good acts and some very unusual ones too, the only really bad one I recall was the juggler who kept dropping everything

Bianca Ryan...

And, uh, Leonid the Magnificent wasn't weird enough for you??

The QuickChange couple were pretty cool. They were brought back for this season's finale (or, uh, maybe "finally").

This season's Leonid-style train-wreck was "Boy Shakira" . There are undoubedtly YouTube vids of him (her? it?) but I can't bring myself to waste download bits looking for them.

Re: Terry Fator, ventriloquist, America's Got Talent

I would have mentioned him but I had blocked him out of my memory

I think David H was pretty worried too.
