Relative Barometric pressure

Sure this is an oft asked question.

Just had my weather station base unit replaced and it now seems to work fine. The absolute pressure is showing 960.7 and relative pressure at 1013.6. Trouble is I can't see how it has calculated this. Doesn't it depend on altitude? I am at 445 mts and I think the relative pressure should be higher.

Can anyone tell me how to calculated the realtive pressure. I believe the station will allow me to enter this. It is of course a Watson 8681.

Thanks
Steve

Re: Relative Barometric pressure

Hi Steve, There's a Sticky thread here Barometer calibration
which may help.
You can type in the calculated relative pressure in the setup window of the supplied 'Easyweather' software. Hope this helps.

Re: Relative Barometric pressure

Great - the figure showing on the station was pretty much correct.
