Petrol below £1 a litre

I have put this thread in here so members and non members can read it...

Asda, Morrisons and BP have for the first time since December 2007 cut their price of unleaded petrol to under £1 a litre. (99.9p)

BP is only doing this at "a number of outlets"

Sainsbury's are to lower their prices tomorrow, but not saying how low the cost will go.

This is great stuff and it was in the Dudley & North Worcestershire Edition of the Express and Star paper this Evening.

1 station in Kingswinford along the Kidderminster road has Petrol at 99.9.

I thought id never see Fuel prices go below £1 ever again earlier in the year!
When i was young i remember fuel prices being around the 70p mark!

Here's one for you...

When i started year 7 (2002) the price for a 500ml of Coca Cola was 78p in Sainsburys. Today (2008) it is 89p!
