snow2 2005 Snow Events

Hi there, I am doing a project in Geography at school related to the 2005 Snow Events in the UK. It was the snowiest year, joint with 1876, on record for the period 1861-2005. These were the major snow event periods:
  • 1 - 2 Jan
  • 12 Jan
  • 17 - 18 Jan
  • 23 - 27 Jan
  • 18 Feb
  • 20 - 28 Feb
  • 1 - 4 Mar
  • 13 - 14 Mar
  • 7 - 8 Apr
  • 15 Apr
  • 24 - 25 Nov
  • 17 Dec
  • 27 - 29 Dec
  • 30 Dec
Unfortunately i didn't own a camera back then, but i was wondering if any of you have any photos of snow during that year, and if so whether you would give me permission to use them?
(Please state when and where the photo was taken)
Many thanks.

Re: 2005 Snow Events

Lucky! Only yesterday i was having a rummage through some old stuff that was packed away from the move to new house and i found my old HD, a old 6 gig with all my old weather photos from 2003 - 2005.

Iam sure there will be a few snow photos on there somewhere - so you will be welcome to use them.

Ill have a look through tomorrow and upload them to a photobucket album and pass on the password to you.

Re: 2005 Snow Events

How long have you got until this needs to be complete?

The problem is renaming all the photos in chronological order and sifting through a few thousand images and files that are in no order at all.

I would say by Sunday it should be complete, i have 15 images ready so far.
