Re: Bay of Biscay Blitzed

i think there may be too many colours there betel, its hard to tell between old and new, why not keep one colour set and different shades darker for the eldest and bright for the newest?
Otherwise looks good

Thanks for the feedback, still one of just many experiments - biggest problem is something slender enough to make 'stacking' more obvious. Next consideration is colours which will stand out against zoomed map layers - European roads seem to be yellow and red, ours blue and green !

In terms of colour shades, have you seen www.blitzortung.org lately ?
Their orange through to brown (?) are not very definitive !

The number of colours I have used is to reflect the timescales suggested by TW, note blitzortung don't try to show <10 min.

Although nothing is worth 'beta' C.A.T. all feedback at any stage is welcome, future / ongoing is selectable refresh (data) rate, animation in 5min steps of given time period, selectable capture area, selectable alarm area, etc. etc. - so I apologise that I don't advertise all of my WIP, because most of it is an incomplete train of thought, or test bed, that I am not prepared to put my (pen)name to !!

PS. Those were the fifth set of modified graphics, and I still have a couple of more variations I want to check out, even then I might go back to the Google 20mm bubble.

.
