Loss of some menu buttons - Midlands Weather Forum

I've noticed the change in the menu buttons. One problem I've noticed is when there are no new posts I get the 'Sorry, there are no new threads to view.' screen. No problems there however the top row of Menu buttons are missing therefore no route to the home page. I've raised a trouble ticket 145900 refers.

Thanks DOc. I couldn't get the global variable to pick up where it should, so I've had to hard code again

The new menu system is nearing completion. Please let me know of any issues, likes or dislikes so that they can be addressed. If I've missed anything, please let me know.

Well TW, I have to say on the whole I lke the new menus BUT having used it for a few days I really could use having the "Forum" button back as a main button and not in a drop down menu. Is there any chance we could have it back please?

I hear what you are saying and I used the same. But by doing that noobies will not click into the drop downs and will therefore be less likely to see changes.

So here is a top tip (the forum has loads of there, you just have to find them)

click the icon in the red circle to access the fourm page

Being a 'front runner' in new clicknology is a worthy effort (remember when logos didn't take you to a home page).

However: a navigation system should have some indicators for it !
How about 'title' / notations being fully implemented ?
