CN080227WD [CN for Chart Notes]

From Meteosat Loop, by the Free University of Berlin.
As over London.

2230: A High Edge of Maritime Air is attempting to move in, being pushed E-ward by the Unusually Forceful Polar Thrust.

The Cold Airmass is Smashing into the side of the wet flow ex SW. The whole flow of wet stuff being forced SEwards. The Polar Airmass forming a Mushroom Head (in plan), with anticlockwise eddy on its left shoulder, and a clockwise one on its right.

From Dawn to 1100ish: This High Front was actually visible as Sky Spanning Cirrus Formations. Westerly Flow.

1100ish to 1330ish: The High Cloud is gradually being nudged to the South. Clear Upper Air according to my reading of the map.

1330: Marine Air starting to come over from the West, and this continued for the rest of the day.
