Thumbs up Midlands Weather Forum Charts

Stage one is now complete and the Midlands Weather Forum now has its very own set of charts. You can see the end product here MWF Weather Charts. - or find it under the resources tab.

At present we have a series of 8 maps and we are able to show:
  • current temperature
  • apparent temperature
  • wind chill
  • dewpoint
  • humidity
  • heat index
  • wind chill
  • wind speed
  • sea level pressure
It is hoped the service will be expanded over the next few weeks to cover precipitation and 7 day forecasts

Re: Midlands Weather Forum Charts

IMHO 'twud be better 'in the sea' Top left below legend, perhaps over more than one line so you can keep a decent typesize without interfering too much with the landmass / contours ?

Re: Midlands Weather Forum Charts

That looks better TW.

But 'apparent temperature' is oF, and seems to be a little different to Wind Chill.

RH (on 02:26 graph) seems very high - I was roughly 55% (now 58) and they have Min 87% Max. 100 accross the country !

Hmm......... something odd here - BMX METAR reporting -3 and light SNOW, I'm +2.8 and have clear sky !

Re: Midlands Weather Forum Charts

Those are great TW. Really easy to understand.

One question, the Heat Index chart is currently showing the land masses a brown colour but I don't see that colour on the scale (at the top of the chart).

Is this my monitor? Is it that colour because of the current low temperatures. Is there something else that I may have misunderstood about these charts?

All help appreciated!
