Quick look now! It's amazing

look at this Met Office rainfall radar picture for 9pm Saturday August 16th 2008 and see how the rain is concentrated on the land and not over the Bristol channel.
I live very close to the sharp bend on the River Severn and quite often see storms pass either side of me, but this rainfall radar pic really shows what i mean.



Anyone got ideas on this?
