Re: Thunderstorm reports 6th-7th Aug 2008

Flying back from holiday yesterday, when we were over the UK there was an excellent storm over the south of the country - lightning every 4 or 5 seconds for a good 40 miles plus. Brilliant view from the air as it was off to our right and the top of the anvil was just above us. We were particularly glad we weren't in the plane that we watched fly straight throught it .
