Very interesting concept it i saw,with collaboration satellite doppler radar !!.
I have listen strikes at AM Frequency ,and i have listen local strikes at HF frequency with FM modulation but only very local strikes because FM modulation it have very interferences.For this reason i beleive perhaps at HF or VHF maybe it will be better from local strikes to detected .
