Ah, poor communication skills on my part. We don't have A/C. In SLO in general, and especially out in the Los Osos Valley where we live, it gets hot enough to warrant running A/C only about one week a year. And most of the time, even when the daytime temperature gets into the 90s or up to 100, we get the afternoon on-shore breeze and it cools off into the low 60s or high 50s at night. So opening the house up at night and closing up during the day is usually enough to keep it pleasant in the house.

Unfortunately, this is an unusual weather pattern. Before dawn this morning, Friday) it was 82F outside, and the house hasn't cooled down below 80 inside. Temps are forecast to be over 100 again today.
