Summary
An area of high pressure lies over the North Sea with a slow-moving area of low pressure, and attendant slow-moving fronts, expected to move slowly east to affect Devon and Cornwall during Thursday and Friday. During the weekend, pressure is expected to build from the east, helping to push the weak frontal zone away westwards.

Weather Forecast
Mainly dry this afternoon, although with increasing amounts of medium and upper cloud. Perhaps an isolated shower developing, western parts of Dartmoor most prone. An increasing chance of some mainly light rain or a few showers during Thursday evening.
Temp at sea level: 19°C this afternoon, falling to around 13°C by midnight.
Temp at 2000ft: 16°C this afternoon, falling to around 11°C by midnight.
Wind at sea level: Southeast 15 to 20mph with gusts 30-35mph, decreasing 5-10mph this evening.
Wind at 2000ft: Southeast 20-30mph this afternoon, decreasing 15-20mph during this evening.
